We're seeking a contract Senior Frontend Developer to architect responsive interfaces for our next-gen SaaS platform. This 6-month contract offers flexible remote work with occasional in-person collaboration at our downtown Seattle office. Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to build pixel-perfect React applications while mentoring junior developers through our agile workflow.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of responsive UI components using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Optimize application performance for complex data visualizations
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming
- Implement automated testing strategies using Jest and Cypress
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement design systems
- Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
- Document technical specifications and contribute to our engineering wiki
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience in frontend development
- Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web applications
- Experience with state management (Redux, Context API)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment
- Ability to thrive in remote contract environments
- Portfolio demonstrating complex data visualization projects
- Experience mentoring junior developers
