Responsibilities
- Lead development of responsive React/Next.js components using TypeScript
- Implement pixel-perfect UI designs using Tailwind CSS and Figma handoffs
- Optimize web performance with code-splitting and lazy loading techniques
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
- Write unit/integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Mentor junior developers during sprint planning sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Expert proficiency in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive, accessible web applications
- Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of performance optimization and web vitals
- Collaborative experience with Agile methodologies
- Local to San Francisco with ability to commute 3 days/week
