Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability during off-peak hours.
- Lead nightly system health checks, performance tuning, and log analysis to proactively identify vulnerabilities.
- Oversee incident response and troubleshooting for critical outages that occur outside standard business hours.
- Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance measures for sensitive data handling.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers during the night shift rotation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux environments, Bash scripting, and Python.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and available for a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Deep experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and logging solutions (ELK Stack).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for shift handovers and documentation.
