Job Description
CloudTech Innovations is urgently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis. This high-impact role requires immediate availability and expertise in cloud infrastructure automation. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our AWS environment and implementing CI/CD pipelines for our flagship SaaS platform.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments using Datadog and Prometheus
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and VPC configurations
- Automate deployment and scaling processes for microservices architecture
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices
- Document infrastructure and processes for knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
