NexGen Systems is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive infrastructure modernization and optimize our cloud ecosystem. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our CI/CD pipelines, improving system reliability, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform and Ansible to ensure reproducibility and security.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve system uptime.
- Automate deployment processes and enhance monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) for real-time insights.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with IaC tools, specifically Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Dallas, TX.
