This contract position requires on-site presence 3 days weekly with flexible remote work options.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS with Helm and Istio service mesh
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD
- Implement robust monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and Python
- Lead incident response and system troubleshooting for production environments
- Document architecture decisions and create technical runbooks
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with AWS certification
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Go
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and ArgoCD
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for microservices
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
