Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for seamless deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to manage cloud resources efficiently.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all development environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a contract setting.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Houston, TX.
