Urgent Contract Opportunity: Senior DevOps Engineer
Join our dynamic team in New York City for an immediate contract role to lead cloud infrastructure modernization. This high-impact position requires hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to scale our fintech platform. Work remotely with occasional on-site collaboration in our Manhattan headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Datadog and Prometheus
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve production issues
- Document infrastructure architecture and deployment procedures
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in AWS/GCP/Azure environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools
- Experience in financial services or fintech preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
