Join CloudScale Solutions, a pioneering SaaS platform revolutionizing cloud infrastructure management. We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect scalable systems for our enterprise clients. This 6-month contract offers full-time hours with potential for extension, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in our downtown San Francisco headquarters.
Our ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses deep expertise in cloud-native architectures. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines while ensuring system reliability and security. This role requires 40 hours/week onsite with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
- Automate deployment processes for Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE)
- Conduct security hardening and compliance audits (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and document system architectures
- Collaborate with product teams to define infrastructure requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
