Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models using Python, R, and SQL to analyze large-scale government datasets
- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks for policy impact evaluation
- Create interactive data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for stakeholder presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and documentation practices
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data science with government/public sector projects
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data technologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify technical concepts
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with federal data compliance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
