Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure platforms
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs and performance for enterprise workloads
- Implement security protocols (IAM, VPC, encryption) for FedRAMP compliance
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using CloudWatch/Log Analytics
- Document architecture and create runbooks for operational teams
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline enhancements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Federal government project experience (FedRAMP/NIST compliance)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Security certifications (CCSP, CISSP, or AWS Security Specialty)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
