Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Lead Kubernetes cluster deployment and management for enterprise workloads
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS DevOps
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2)
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and client stakeholders
- Document architecture decisions and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with 2+ years in Kubernetes
- Expert in Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools
- Strong CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong communication skills for technical presentations to clients
