Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Models: Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models with a focus on scalability and real-time performance for 2026 applications.
- Research & Innovation: Lead internal research initiatives to explore emerging AI paradigms, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning.
- System Optimization: Fine-tune existing models for efficiency, reducing latency and computational costs in production environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to integrate AI capabilities into Nexus Horizon's core software ecosystem.
- Mentorship: Guide junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kubernetes).
- Mathematics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability/statistics.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and deliver robust solutions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
