Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce global ethical guidelines for complex neural network architectures and quantum-assisted machine learning models.
- Conduct rigorous bias audits and impact assessments on predictive algorithms to ensure fairness across diverse demographics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ethical guardrails into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Advocate for transparent AI communication strategies to stakeholders and the public.
- Monitor emerging global regulations regarding data privacy and autonomous agents to ensure compliance.
- Lead research initiatives into 'Alignment Theory' for future AGI systems.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, strategy, or policy formulation.
- Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Proven track record of publishing on AI ethics or influencing policy at a senior level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in agile, high-growth startup environments.
