Job Description
We are pioneering the future of autonomous intelligence. As a key member of The 2026 Initiative, you will architect the next generation of AI agents capable of complex reasoning, multi-step planning, and autonomous execution. If you are obsessed with pushing the boundaries of Large Language Models (LLMs) and want to define the standards for AI in the coming decade, we want to hear from you.
Why Join Us?
- Impactful Work: You will directly shape the core architecture of systems that will power millions of autonomous interactions.
- Future-Ready: We are operating on a 5-year roadmap to 2026, focusing on Long-term Memory, Self-Correction, and Tool-Use capabilities.
- Top-Tier Team: Collaborate with PhD researchers and industry veterans in the heart of the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Architect Agentic Workflows: Design and implement robust multi-agent systems that can perceive, reason, and act autonomously to solve complex business problems.
- Model Integration: Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate state-of-the-art foundation models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama) into our proprietary agent frameworks.
- Tool Use & Environment: Develop agents capable of safely interacting with external APIs, databases, and operating systems to perform real-world tasks.
- Self-Correction & Safety: Implement mechanisms for agents to recognize hallucinations, self-correct errors, and adhere to safety and alignment guidelines.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize inference latency and cost-efficiency for production-grade AI deployments.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI/ML applications.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack).
- Architecture: Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Research Mindset: Demonstrated ability to read and implement cutting-edge research papers from top AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
