We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Interactive Web Developer to join our elite creative engineering team in San Francisco. Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, visually stunning 2D web graphics and interactive animations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate static mockups into dynamic, responsive interactive prototypes.
- Optimize rendering performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility for complex 2D visualizations.
- Integrate third-party libraries (e.g., GSAP, Anime.js) to enhance visual storytelling and user engagement.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and best practices.
- Develop reusable component libraries for 2D graphics to speed up future development cycles.
- Debug complex animation timelines and resolve visual glitches across various devices and screen sizes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience with HTML5 Canvas, SVG manipulation, and modern CSS3 animations.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of animation principles (easing, timing, physics) and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with WebGL or 3D libraries (Three.js, Pixi.js) is a strong plus.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) and mobile-first development.
- Portfolio demonstrating a history of creative 2D web projects and interactive experiences.
