In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering, turning static assets into fluid, dynamic stories that captivate millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Architect High-Performance Animations: Design and implement complex 2D motion graphics using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and SVG technologies.
- Optimization: Ensure animations run at 60fps on all devices by optimizing rendering pipelines and minimizing memory leaks.
- Collaborate with Design: Partner with UI/UX designers to translate Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive code.
- Library Development: Contribute to our internal library of 2D interaction components to ensure consistency across products.
- Performance Auditing: Conduct rigorous testing and profiling to ensure accessibility and performance compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or interaction design for the web.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Canvas API, and WebGL (Three.js or PixiJS).
- Design Tools: Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex rendering issues.
