Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit scalability
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing interfaces for enterprise applications
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction protocols achieving <10-12 logical error rates
- Optimize cryogenic systems supporting millikelvin operating environments
- Architect quantum network protocols enabling distributed quantum computing
- Collaborate with materials science teams on novel superconducting qubit designs
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-generation cryptographic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum computing or cryogenic systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit fabrication and control systems
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum measurement
