Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop cryogenic control systems with sub-10mK temperature stability
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Architect quantum network infrastructure supporting distributed quantum computing
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to quantum attacks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing hardware or cryogenic systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit technologies (Transmon, Fluxonium)
- Published research in quantum architecture or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerator systems
- Certification in quantum security (e.g., QKD implementation)
