Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Develop error-correction techniques for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum-hybrid computing solutions
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Lead quantum simulation projects for pharmaceutical and energy sectors
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published work in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate theory into practice
