Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and execute experiments on superconducting quantum processors
- Lead quantum software development for error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Publish research in Nature/Science and present at major conferences
- Drive industry partnerships for quantum technology commercialization
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum computing interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
