Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead hardware-software co-development with quantum chip engineers

- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Translate quantum advantage into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware (D-Wave, IBM Q)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Track record of securing NSF/NIH grants
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
