Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybridize quantum-classical systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry grants
- Ensure quantum system security against emerging threats
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research (IBM Quantum/Google Quantum AI experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- US citizenship or active security clearance
