Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
- Secure patents and partnerships with industry leaders
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Demonstrated publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
