Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead prototyping of superconducting qubit systems at 15mK temperatures
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate 100+ qubit processors
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/bosonic codes)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and microwave pulse control
- Strong background in linear algebra and tensor network algorithms
- Experience with FPGA-based quantum control systems
