Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design projects to optimize qubit stability and error correction
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to translate theoretical models into scalable quantum solutions
- Publish cutting-edge research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks to validate experimental results
- Secure external funding through competitive grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in quantum information science or adjacent fields
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical applications
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ, etc.)
