Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in 2026+ technology ecosystems
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware prototypes using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Secure and manage quantum research grants from government and private sector partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published work in quantum computing algorithms or hardware implementation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photon-based quantum processors
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Track record of securing research funding or leading industrial R&D projects
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
