Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Develop error correction protocols to improve qubit stability and coherence times
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors and test new architectures
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical machine learning frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems preferred
