Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software integration systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies addressing current scalability limitations
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry partnerships for quantum ecosystem development
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from government and private entities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing publications (Nature/Science/IEEE)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
