Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions using IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals with 6+ annual publications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry grants for quantum innovation projects
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming languages
- Experience with superconducting and ion-trap quantum hardware
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling and statistical analysis
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
