Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design and implement error correction protocols for quantum processors
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum control systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent quantum methodologies
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
