Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction techniques to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Drive quantum technology roadmapping for 2026 commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction in QIP, Nature Physics, or equivalent
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Hands-on experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or similar)
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate quantum concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
