Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit and trapped-ion systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-enhanced ML models
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum technologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier physics/computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or ion traps
