Responsibilities

- Develop error correction techniques to advance quantum coherence beyond current industry standards
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at premier quantum computing conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to translate theory into real-world solutions
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Establish industry partnerships to commercialize quantum computing breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum error correction, and quantum annealing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms and mitigation strategies
- Track record of securing government research grants or corporate R&D funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum hardware integration
