Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 1000+ qubit systems
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Direct cross-functional teams of 15+ quantum physicists and engineers
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from government/private entities
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready quantum circuits
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Quantum Fellows program
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research (IBM/Google/Rigetti experience preferred)
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers in quantum information science
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in cryogenic systems and microwave control engineering
- Strong track record of securing government research grants
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
- Active Q# or Quipper certification
