Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead a team of 8-12 researchers in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Secure and manage government/private research funding ($50M+ target)
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers/year in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies for real-world quantum solution implementation
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (required)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in quantum machine learning applications
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
