Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing pipelines
- Develop security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to implement quantum machine learning models
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite and government partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded projects
