Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity
- Optimize quantum error correction systems for fault-tolerant operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Secure $10M+ in research grants for quantum innovation initiatives
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Familiarity with quantum annealing and superconducting qubit technologies
- Strong programming skills in Q#, Python, and C++ for quantum systems
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research funding
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) preferred
