Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical architectures with 99.9% reliability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Create quantum software development kits (SDKs) for enterprise adoption
- Present breakthrough research at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish findings in Nature Physics
- Drive quantum security frameworks for next-gen blockchain systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science) on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# with proven quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy experiments and NISQ-era limitations
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or superconducting qubits
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum computing research grants
