Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for financial modeling and drug discovery
- Implement quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability and error correction
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor quantum engineers in emerging technologies like topological computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum system design
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfaces
- Experience securing DoD or NASA quantum computing contracts
- Certification in quantum cryptography (e.g., QKD) preferred
