Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Implement quantum error correction protocols with <0.1% failure rates
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Architect secure quantum communication networks
- Collaborate with materials scientists to engineer novel qubit substrates
- Mentor quantum engineering teams and publish research in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Expertise in superconducting/photonic qubit systems
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ research grants
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies preferred
