Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Partner with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical cloud infrastructure on AWS Braket
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives at quantum summits
- File 2-3 quantum patents annually through our IP incubator
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with quantum annealing (D-Wave systems)
- Security clearance preferred for defense contracts
- Fluency in quantum error correction codes (surface/colour codes)
