Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum algorithms for practical industrial use cases
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum system integration
- Research and implement novel quantum error correction protocols
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ and fault-tolerant computing platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) and error mitigation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and complexity classes
- Published research in quantum computing or related field (arXiv/IEEE journals)
- Familiarity with cloud quantum computing services (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
