Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for 2026 security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing systems
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, photonic, topological)
- Document architectural blueprints and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
