Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Lead research initiatives on quantum machine learning frameworks
- Create technical documentation and patent novel methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and publish in top-tier journals
- Partner with government agencies on post-quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing
- Expertise in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Clearance for government-contracted research preferred
