Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network architectures for 2026-scale computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-AI hybrid algorithms
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-accelerated AI systems
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through NIH/NSF proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years of experience with quantum algorithms (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum supremacy
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum simulators
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience with fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
