Responsibilities
- Design quantum neural networks for unsupervised learning at 1000+ qubit scale
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-encrypted AI models
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Secure $5M+ in federal quantum computing grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world industrial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum
- Published research in quantum information science
- Expertise in topological quantum error correction
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum simulation
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Clearance for DOE quantum research projects preferred
