Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for NLP and computer vision applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Create simulation environments to validate quantum AI performance on real hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into production systems
- Publish research in IEEE Nature Quantum journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum AI frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and quantum neural networks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum services
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing or AI research
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
