Responsibilities
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, and system architecture diagrams.
- Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information for documentation projects.
- Edit and review documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to our style guides.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to understand product features and updates.
- Optimize existing content for search engines and user experience to improve knowledge base accessibility.
- Produce weekly progress reports and manage documentation schedules within tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technical writing or a related field.
- Proven ability to write clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong proficiency in technical writing tools such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, or Markdown.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, or web publishing platforms is highly preferred.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
- Must be available for at least 20 hours per week to meet project deliverables.
