Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value search terms.
- Execute on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, title descriptions, and heading structures.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profiles.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console; prepare weekly reports.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly copy and optimize existing articles.
- Perform technical audits to identify and resolve crawl errors and site speed issues.
- Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SEO, with a focus on organic growth and ranking improvement.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a contract role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to the Nashville, TN area.
